Socio-Economic Studies on the Workers engaged in Stone Crushing Activities in Panchami village of Birbhum District has been done.This work aims to study the composition of workforce of the stone crushing industry, the migration problem. The study will generate a comprehensive account of the working force, the origin and possible solutions of the migration problem.

Conservation measures for East Kolkata Wetlands have been done.The total area of east Kolkata wetlands has been delineated at the plot level. Documentation has been done for all relevant facts related to EKW for planning, dissemination and awareness building among the local, regional, national and international stakeholders.
