The small but efficient office of the Institute is composed of the Administrative and the three Research & Development sections and a library.All these are provided with required facilities as far as possible.The Director is the overall leader and head of both the Administrative and Research and Development sections.The Administration,Purchase,Finance,Accounts and the Library are under the control of Chief Administrative Officer.The Research and Development sections are run by three Scientists of the Institute in association with Scholars and Assistants.

The library, rather small,but contains books and reports covering, as far as possible,areas of interests of the Institute.Though inadequate, in numbers,yet the Library subscribes a few journals and periodicals on environment science.The Library also provide facilities of a photo copy machine,three computers with ‘Internet’ connection, slide and overhead projectors with a suitable screen for projection arrangements during lectures and workshops, and one Video-Cassette player with colour monitor.All books of our Library are International Code Accessed
